Strike

A unique performance experience dissolving the borders between movement and stillness, between art and life.
In strike, the actions play with the concept of time, a radical stretching of time, releasing and holding movements, and formulating different physical images while observing the spectators. Actions portrayed in their basic form; a slow contraction in order to find mutual ground in space, in order to connect to the emotional experience of observing presence and movement.

The work compiled an inventory of what lies hidden and out of view within the borders of the self and one’s everyday environment, asking us all to look closer at that which might otherwise remain unnoticed. Throughout the evening you can shift between different ways of relating with others – looking, interacting, and discussing.
You can come and go as you please, but we’d encourage you to stay with us until the end and to share some reflections.
