Stardust reflected on the working reality of mother artists.
By presenting this work at Christie's [Auction House], Stardust showcased active mother artists as the work of art, while investigating the relationship between the viewer - the commodity of art - and the mother artist who produces it.
In this performance, each mother artist was for sale.
Next to her feet laid a description of who she is, what she does for a living.
New Stuff, Is an ongoing collaborative theatre group based on a production of independent performances. We are Galit Criden, Noam Sendel and Matar pershitz, Three independent Visual Arts performers and creators. we aim to give as much artistic freedom that can be used by the artists to develop their own work. New Stuff reflects a deep longing for opportunity and support in the field of performance and dance, in order to overcome hurdles and challenges presented to every artist.
we strive to cultivate a space that encourages collaborative and individual creation: to think, make and act alongside others within our community and our creative group. Together we form a wide range of disciplines that come together, ask and engage their questions, create and share their work. In 'Private Act', the subjects carry out repetitive actions in a shared space. In the process, we discovered the subject of guilt was present in many of the images we portrayed.
